Meet Phil McLaughlin, one of our dedicated Service Tech Supervisors at Mazza Mechanical in New York. With nearly seven years of experience, Phil’s role has grown significantly since he joined us. At Mazza Mechanical, we believe in professional development and always provide opportunities for our team members to learn and grow. Phil mentions, “If there’s something you want to learn, we’ll will send you to a class or provide a mentor to guide you.” The HVAC field is vast and filled with numerous niches. At Mazza, we support our employees in pursuing their interests and expanding their expertise.

We also take pride in mentoring new interns and hires, providing them with hands-on experience in the field. Phil shares, “When we get a new intern, they ride along with us for a few weeks or months, depending on their schedule.” We emphasize the importance of understanding the broad scope of HVAC work by allowing newcomers to observe and participate in real-world tasks. From checking filters to inspecting motors, we ensure that each trainee gains a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to be an HVAC service technician. Our passion for teaching and supportive approach make our team strong and capable, ready to tackle any challenges.
