Mazza Academy reflects our commitment to giving technicians a clearer path to grow. Our President, Dan DeRose, explains that its purpose began with a practical need: connecting available training resources into a more complete learning experience.
Taking Responsibility for Training
We recognized that many resources existed for technician education, yet there wasn’t one place we could turn for a complete training path.
That gap encouraged us to take a more active role in developing our team. We’re working to create our own curriculum, with internal leadership guiding its development. Our goal is to make learning more connected so technicians can continue progressing with support from the people around them.
Building on a Longstanding Commitment
Our passion for training has been growing for years. Twelve years ago, we put the Mazza Training Center name on our building, recognizing the direction we wanted to take.
A turning point came when we purchased training equipment that included a curriculum. We saw our subject matter experts flourish when they had that structure to guide instruction. That experience reinforced the value of pairing technical expertise with thoughtfully developed educational materials.
